Location and Geography
Farraige Belle is located roughly 300 miles southeast of Trinidad and Tobago. Its position off the mainland of South America and its ample distance from any other civilizations make it a prime location for seclusion. Farraige Belle is not located directly in the Caribbean Sea, and it is not a Caribbean island. However, the waters surrounding the island are warm and electric blue, much like the Caribbean, and the beaches are sandy white. It is also not far from the outer rim of the Caribbean, although it is technically part of the Atlantic Ocean. Farraige Belle is an independent country that relies very little on foreign trade, but it is necessary (once in a great while) for supplies to be shipped to the island. Its relatively short distance from other countries gives it a definite advantage when it comes to shipping, and prices are kept at a minimum. While there is no currency on the island, there is a treasury with an ample amount of cash left by Byrne's fortune and other countries are often generous with donations. Each district contains a dining hall and job offices in a central area, and each district has two different elected officals. Farraige Belle does not have a capital.
